Henry WhiteHenry White is a seasoned executive who has consistently and successfully grown companies, exercised P & L responsibility, and grown corporate revenues while delivering optimal profit margins. He is broadly experienced working inside firms as well as for a venture firm where he was the senior executive running several portfolio companies simultaneously. His experience includes creation and implementation of highly successful marketing programs, direct sales and sales management, participation in financial restructuring, strategy development, and staff restructuring. He brings both operational knowledge and Board experience to his work.

Most recently he has been managing several early stage firms where he was able to achieve growth and profitability in short order. For example, he took a firm from losing 21% to making profits of 9% in just one year. During that same time he grew corporate revenue by 50%. He was, at the same time, the lead executive for three firms in very different markets. Each of these was ultimately successful.

In other work, he restructured a national sales team for a 1,600 employee, $170 million food service and vending firm while increasing new sales by two-thirds in just four months; he took over sales for a troubled medical device firm and doubled sales within six months. To make this happen, Henry developed and implemented an advanced, comprehensive strategy that brought immediate organizational stability and positioned the company for long-term growth.

Henry’s ability to identify, analyze, synthesize, and solve problems with incomplete information has served him well when entering new industries. He understands how to decipher the current situation, cut through the masses of relevant and irrelevant detail to identify and understand the key issues. He then thinks and acts cross-functionally to develop and integrate a successful plan of action.

In the mid nineties, Henry was responsible for the five-fold growth of a national computer reseller, which reached annual sales of $100 million. Inc. Magazine recognized this company as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in America three consecutive years.

Henry began his career in sales following graduation from Northeastern University in Boston where he was an economics major and a member of the varsity crew.

Henry is a knowledgeable and dynamic resource and has been an invited guest panelist or speaker for Ernst and Young Technology conferences, the MIT Enterprise Forum and the Small Business Association of New England. He has been interviewed and quoted in a wide range of publications including, Sales and Marketing Management Magazine, CFO Magazine, VAR Business, B-to-B Magazine.

Henry is a native of the greater Boston area and now resides in Andover, Massachusetts with his wife Cary and their two children. He is an avid golfer and angler in his spare time.
